Deepen your beginning practice with 40 therapeutic postures in the Ghosh Yoga tradition, including salutations and arm balances. Some experience is best, but not required. Room is heated.

YIN YOGA

  • 60 Minutes
  • 5-7 Postures held for long periods of time
  • Slow-paced

This practice is designed to help you sit longer, and more comfortably, in meditation by stretching connective tissue around the joints (mainly the knees, pelvis, sacrum, and spine). A passive practice, Yin Yoga involves variations of seated and supine poses typically held for 3 to 5 minutes, accessing deeper layers of fascia. This class is 60 minutes with no added heat.
